Around the 15th May 2006 over 100,000
were sent to AOL users with an e-mail address
suggesting that it was sent from hcidata.co.uk - that e-mail address was faked.
HCI Data Ltd has no connection with Rodedawg International Industries, Inc.
They are not, and never have been, one of our clients.
Neither are we associated with the persons or company that created and sent out this e-mail.
Due to the nature of how the e-mail was sent, which included explointing a weakness of a client's program, we suggest that, until proven otherwise, you treat the
as a scam.
Please note: The existence of these
doesn’t necessarily mean that Rodedawg International Industries, Inc, or any other companies named in them are dishonest: the companies may themselves be the victims of disreputable advertisers. These pages simply document those companies that are, in point of fact, being touted by spammers; any message that appears here has almost certainly been received by thousands or perhaps hundreds of thousands of other people. If you represent a company named in one of these messages and you have been victimized by a third-party spammer, send the URL of the page on your company website that disclaims the spam us (see out contacts page) and we’ll be glad to add a link to that page here. Please do not send us additional examples of spam you may have received—we have enough specimens already, as you can see! Thank you.
